We believe that BIOmesh will make this happen. Nowadays, things can be different, many fruits and vegetables are contaminated with mycotoxins, or poisonous substances from mold, which are often invisible, but wreak havoc in our bodies. They can be the source of allergies and many deadly diseases, such as strokes, and cancers, or lead to liver or pancreatic damage. 

Molds often develop inside a fruit or vegetable that, on the surface, looks healthy... On top of that, healthy foods that do not contain harmful additives usually have a much shorter shelf life and are more prone to mold growth, as preservatives used in the food industry make it much more difficult for mold to grow. 

The BIOmesh solution, which we are currently working on and for which we have received funding from the European Union's Operational Program for the Development of Eastern Poland, is intended to enable monitoring of the risk of storage mold in food products and allow recipients to identify mold-threatened food products at an early stage.

The product, which uses the potential of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, will monitor the conditions under which grain, feed, or other food products are stored. A unique predictive measurement model based on ML/AI will provide pig farmers or grain processors with the necessary countermeasure information in advance to take the fight against poisonous mycotoxins from mold.
