"BIOmesh - an intelligent platform for monitoring the risk of storage mould in food products, using the potential of new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)" - project implemented under the Operational Programme Eastern Poland 2014-2020 Priority Axis I: Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland Measure 1.1 Start-up platforms for new ideas Sub-measure 1.1.2 Development of start-ups in Eastern Poland.

Project objective: the subject of the project is to develop an intelligent platform for mould risk monitoring - BIOmesh, which will allow recipients to reduce the economic effects of losses and the impact of mold - mycotoxins, on health. The BIOmesh solution will enable intelligent monitoring of conditions and early identification of food products at risk of mould.

Planned outcomes: the results of the work will enable the development of a unique measurement model, based on AI/ ML, which will provide interested customer groups (including pig farmers, grain processors, but also individual customers) with an effective digital farming solution to take the fight against toxic mycotoxins from mould. It is hoped that, in the long term, the BIOmesh solution will contribute to reducing production losses, increasing the competitiveness of agri-businesses, as well as increasing the quality of food in Poland, the EU and the world.
